# caly Terms of Use

**Last updated: 8 September 2026**

These baseline terms describe use of the caly marketing website and the process for requesting a demonstration.

**Template status:** The operator's full legal identity and business address must be completed and these terms reviewed for the operator's jurisdiction before they are treated as final contractual terms.

## 1. Website purpose

caly is an AI reception and intake product for law firms. This website explains its intended capabilities and allows business users to enquire about a demonstration. It is not an emergency service or a channel for submitting a legal claim.

Browsing the website does not create a subscription, a payment obligation, or an agreement to supply a voice-agent service. These website terms do not replace a signed service agreement, order form, or data-processing agreement.

## 2. Demonstrations and enquiries

The request a demo button opens a prepared message in your email application. You decide whether to send it. A request is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking or purchase. Demo arrangements are confirmed separately by email.

Please provide accurate business contact details and use fictional or anonymised examples when discussing intake scenarios. Do not send confidential client material, medical records, identity documents, or information you are not entitled to share through a general demo enquiry. No demo is recorded under these terms alone; any recording requires appropriate advance information and any legally required consent.

## 3. Product descriptions and availability

Features, integrations, supported workflows, availability, and commercial terms are agreed for each firm's implementation. The website does not establish a service-level guarantee, a delivery deadline, or guaranteed compatibility with every CRM, case-management system, calendar, or phone system.

Screens, call transcripts, lead records, names, and amounts shown on the website are illustrative. Published industry statistics belong to the cited studies and are not measured results or guarantees for caly customers.

## 4. No legal advice or guaranteed case outcome

caly provides technology for reception and initial intake; it does not act as a law firm through this website. Website content, demonstrations, screening results, and compensation estimates are not legal advice, determinations of liability, or promises of recovery.

Using the website, requesting a demo, or viewing a sample conversation does not establish an attorney and a client relationship. A law firm remains responsible for professional judgment, conflict checks, case acceptance, legal deadlines, client advice, and reviewing AI-generated information. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate.

## 5. Use of a configured service

A live deployment requires separately agreed service terms. Those arrangements should address fees, scope, support, recording disclosures and consent, retention, security, data-processing roles, providers, transfers, and appropriate human review.

Where a firm uses caly for intake, that firm's duties to callers and clients are governed by applicable law and its own professional obligations. These website terms do not authorise the collection or processing of a firm's client data.

## 6. Acceptable use

You may use the website to learn about caly, evaluate the product for your firm, and contact us. You must not:

- Use it to break the law, impersonate someone, or misrepresent your authority to act for a firm.
- Attempt to obtain unauthorised access, introduce malware, or interfere with availability or security.
- Send abusive messages, spam, or information you have no right to disclose.
- Copy or use website material in a way that infringes intellectual-property rights or misrepresents an affiliation with caly.

These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by mandatory law.

## 7. Website content and third-party services

Rights in original website content belong to the operator or the relevant rights holders. You may view the website and share links to it for legitimate purposes. Third-party names, marks, fonts, and research remain the property of their respective owners; references do not imply endorsement or partnership.

External links are provided for convenience or attribution. Third-party websites, email applications, hosting platforms, and other services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their content or availability.

## 8. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep website information useful and current, but the website may contain errors, change, or be temporarily unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Verify information that matters to a purchasing or professional decision directly with us.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or any applicable non-excludable consumer rights. Responsibility for a paid service is addressed in its separate agreement. No arbitrary monetary liability cap is established by these website terms.

## 9. Privacy

The [Privacy Policy](./privacy-policy.md) explains the current website and demo-enquiry workflow. Reading these terms or using a mail link is not consent to unrelated marketing or to processing confidential case information.

## 10. Updates and disputes

We may revise these terms for future website use, with the updated date shown above. Revisions do not retroactively change a separate signed agreement. Applicable mandatory law and any non-excludable rights remain unaffected; this baseline document does not select an exclusive court or governing jurisdiction.
